NEMA 12 (IP54) cabinet cooler® systems are designed for dust-tight and oil-tight protection in general industrial environments where no liquids or corrosives are present. These dirt, dust, and oil resistant thermostat-controlled cooler systems operate efficiently by activating only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, making them ideal for fluctuating heat loads due to environmental or seasonal changes. The standard thermostat control includes an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C), with sound levels measured when an optional cold muffler is installed. The compact cabinet cooler installs easily through a standard electrical knockout while maintaining the NEMA rating of the electronic enclosure. All cabinet coolers are UL listed, CE compliant, and use a vortex tube to generate cold air from compressed air without any moving parts, ensuring reliability and low maintenance. Cooling capacities reach up to 5,600 BTU/hr. (1,641 watts), and key features include quiet operation, stabilization of enclosure temperature and humidity, no CFCs, elimination of fans and filters, and protection from dirt, dust, and heat damage. These units prevent nuisance tripping, circuit drift, and lost production by efficiently cooling and purging electronic control panels without compromise.
