Continuous operation hazardous location NEMA 4X (IP66) cabinet cooler systems are engineered and approved for use on purged electrical enclosures within classified areas, meeting UL requirements for Class I Div 1 Groups A, B, C, D; Class II Div 1 Groups E, F, G; and Class III hazardous locations. Constructed of stainless steel for food service and corrosive environments, these cabinet coolers offer cooling capacities ranging from 1,000 BTU/hr to 5,600 BTU/hr and can be installed quickly through a standard electrical knockout. Designed for continuous operation with constant cooling and positive purge, they feature dust-tight, oil-tight, and splash-resistant NEMA 4X (IP66) enclosures suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Each system includes a low pressure relief valve that closes when not operating to maintain enclosure integrity, a water-dirt filter separator to prevent condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure, and a cold air distribution kit to direct airflow for effective circulation or targeted cooling on hotspots. These UL classified and CE compliant systems are intended to be used in conjunction with purged and pressurized control systems but are not purged and pressurized systems themselves. Typical applications include programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, and computer cabinets.
