NEMA 12 (IP54) Cabinet Cooler® systems are dust-tight and oil-tight solutions ideal for general industrial environments without liquids or corrosives, designed to protect electronic enclosures from dirt, dust, and oil. These thermostat control systems operate efficiently by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures near critical levels to save compressed air, making them especially suitable for fluctuating heat loads due to environmental or seasonal changes. The standard thermostat is adjustable and factory set at 95°F (35°C). The compact cooler installs quickly through a standard electrical knockout while maintaining the NEMA rating of the enclosure. All units are UL listed and CE compliant, incorporating a vortex tube with no moving parts to produce cold air from compressed air. Cooling capacities reach up to 5,600 BTU/hr (1,641 watts), and the system operates quietly, stabilizes enclosure temperature and humidity, contains no CFCs, requires no maintenance, eliminates fans and filters, stops nuisance tripping and heat damage, prevents circuit drift, and provides protection from dirt and dust. These cabinet coolers are suitable for applications including programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales.
