NEMA 12 (IP54) Cabinet Cooler® systems are designed for general industrial environments where no liquids or corrosives are present, offering dust-tight and oil-tight protection. These dirt, dust, and oil-resistant thermostat control systems operate efficiently by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, with an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C). The compact cooler can be installed quickly through a standard electrical knockout without compromising the NEMA rating of the electronic enclosure. All cabinet coolers include a vortex tube that produces cold air from compressed air without moving parts, are UL listed, CE compliant, and provide cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr. (1,641 watts). They are maintenance-free, quiet, stabilize enclosure temperature and humidity, eliminate fans and filters, prevent heat damage, nuisance tripping, circuit drift, and lost production while protecting controls from dirt and dust. Suitable applications include programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales.
