NEMA 12 (IP54) Cabinet Cooler® systems are designed for general industrial environments without liquids or corrosives, offering dust-tight and oil-tight protection. These dirt, dust, and oil-resistant thermostat control systems operate efficiently by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures near critical levels, making them ideal for fluctuating heat loads due to environmental or seasonal changes. The standard thermostat is adjustable and factory set at 95°F (35°C). Sound levels are measured with an optional cold muffler installed. The compact cooler installs easily through a standard electrical knockout while maintaining the NEMA 12 rating of the electronic enclosure. All cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant, providing a low-cost, reliable cooling solution for electronic control panels. EXAIR® cabinet coolers use a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air without any moving parts, offering cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr (1,641 watts). Key features include quiet operation, stabilization of enclosure temperature and humidity, absence of CFCs, maintenance-free operation due to no moving parts, installation in standard electrical knockouts, prevention of nuisance tripping and heat damage, elimination of fans and filters, reduction of lost production, prevention of circuit drift, and protection from dirt and dust. These systems comply with OSHA safety requirements and the EU General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC).
