NEMA 4 (IP66) thermostat control systems efficiently operate cabinet coolers by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, making them ideal for fluctuating heat loads caused by environmental or seasonal changes. Standard thermostat control systems include an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C) and incorporate a low pressure relief valve for both the cooler and cabinet air exhaust, which closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the NEMA integrity of the electronic enclosure. Sound level is measured with the optional cold muffler installed. These cabinet coolers are available in various cooling capacities, up to 5,600 BTU/hr. (1,641 watts), suitable for large and small control panels. Unlike Freon-based air conditioners, Exair Cabinet Coolers use a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air with no moving parts and can be installed in minutes through a standard electrical knockout. Each system includes a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure and a cold air distribution kit to direct air circulation or target hot spots. All cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant, offering a compact, low-cost, quiet solution that stabilizes enclosure temperature and humidity without CFCs or moving parts.
