NEMA 12 (IP54) Cabinet Cooler® systems are dust-tight and oil-tight, designed for general industrial environments without presence of liquids or corrosives. These dirt, dust, and oil-resistant thermostat control systems efficiently operate by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures near critical levels, making them ideal for fluctuating heat loads due to environmental or seasonal changes. The standard thermostat control includes an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C). The compact design allows installation in minutes through a standard electrical knockout, maintaining the NEMA rating of the electronic enclosure. All cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant, offering a low-cost, reliable method to cool and purge electronic control panels. The system uses a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air without moving parts. Cooling capacities reach up to 5,600 BTU/hr. (1,641 watts) and the unit is quiet and maintenance-free. It stabilizes enclosure temperature and humidity, contains no CFCs, mounts in a standard knockout, and provides protection against heat damage, dirt contamination, nuisance tripping, circuit drift, and eliminates the need for fans and filters. The Cabinet Cooler systems are suitable for applications including programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales.
