NEMA 12 (IP54) Cabinet Cooler® systems are designed for general industrial environments where no liquids or corrosives are present, providing dust-tight and oil-tight protection. These systems feature dirt, dust, and oil resistance with thermostat control that activates the cooler only when internal temperatures approach a preset critical level, making them efficient for fluctuating heat loads from environmental or seasonal changes. The standard thermostat control includes an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C). The compact coolers install in minutes through a standard electrical knockout while maintaining the NEMA rating of the electronic enclosure. All cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant, incorporating a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air without any moving parts. They offer cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr (1,641 watts) and operate quietly, stabilizing enclosure temperature and humidity without CFCs. The systems eliminate the need for fans and filters, stop nuisance tripping and heat damage, prevent circuit drift and dirt contamination, and provide washdown protection.
