NEMA 12 (IP54) cabinet cooler® systems are dust-tight and oil-tight, designed for general industrial environments where no liquids or corrosives are present. These dirt, dust, and oil resistant thermostat control systems operate efficiently by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, making them suitable for fluctuating heat loads caused by environmental or seasonal changes. The standard thermostat control includes an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C), with sound level measured using an optional cold muffler. The compact cabinet cooler installs in minutes through a standard electrical knockout and maintains the NEMA rating of the electronic enclosure. All cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant, providing a low cost, reliable way to cool and purge electronic control panels. EXAIR® cabinet coolers use a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air without moving parts. They are applicable for programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales. Cooling capacities reach up to 5,600 BTU/hr (1,641 watts) and the system is quiet, maintenance-free, mounts in a standard electrical knockout, and stabilizes enclosure temperature and humidity. The design stops nuisance tripping, heat damage, circuit drift, dirt contamination, and eliminates the need for fans and filters, washdown protection, and lost production.
