NEMA 4 (IP66) thermostat control systems are designed to efficiently operate a cabinet cooler by activating it only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, making them ideal for fluctuating heat loads caused by environmental or seasonal changes. These standard thermostat control systems include an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C) and feature a low-pressure relief valve for both the cooler and cabinet air exhaust, which closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the NEMA integrity of the electronic enclosure. Sound levels are measured with the optional cold muffler installed. The NEMA 4 (IP66) cabinet coolers are available in various cooling capacities suitable for large and small control panels and utilize a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air without moving parts, differing from traditional Freon-based air conditioners. They can be installed quickly through a standard electrical knockout and include a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure, as well as a cold air distribution kit to direct air circulation or target hot spots. All cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant. Cooling capacities can reach up to 5,600 BTU/hr. (1,641 watts), and the design offers benefits such as low cost, compact size, quiet operation, rapid installation, stabilized enclosure temperature and humidity, no CFCs, and no moving parts, ensuring maintenance-free operation.
