NEMA 12 (IP54) Cabinet Cooler® systems are dust-tight and oil-tight, designed for general industrial environments without liquids or corrosives, providing dirt, dust, and oil resistance. These thermostat control systems operate efficiently by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, featuring an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C). Measured sound levels are based on units with the optional cold muffler installed. The compact cabinet cooler installs in minutes through a standard electrical knockout while maintaining the NEMA rating of the electronic enclosure. All cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant, cooling and purging electronic control panels using a vortex tube that produces cold air from compressed air with no moving parts. Cooling capacities reach up to 5,600 BTU/hr. (1,641 watts), offering quiet operation, stabilization of enclosure temperature and humidity, and washdown protection without CFCs or maintenance. The product fits programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales. It eliminates fans and filters, stops nuisance tripping, heat damage, dirt contamination, circuit drift, and lost production, mounting in a standard electrical knockout. The systems comply with OSHA safety requirements and the EU general product safety directive.
