Continuous operation hazardous location NEMA 4 (IP66) cabinet cooler systems are engineered and approved for use on purged electrical enclosures in classified areas and have been tested by UL to meet stringent UL requirements. These Hazloc cabinet cooler systems are low cost and reliable solutions for cooling purged electric control panels in environments including Class I Div 1, Groups A, B, C, and D; Class II Div 1, Groups E, F, and G; and Class III. Available in cooling capacities ranging from 1,000 BTU/hr to 5,600 BTU/hr, they can be installed in minutes through a standard electrical knockout. These NEMA 4 (IP66) rated coolers are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash-resistant, and suitable for indoor and outdoor service. They incorporate a low pressure relief valve that closes and seals when the cooler is off, maintaining the integrity of a NEMA 4 enclosure. Each system includes a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure, as well as a cold air distribution kit to direct cooled air for circulation or onto specific hot spots. All cabinet cooler systems are UL classified and CE compliant. These EXAIR Hazloc cabinet cooler systems are not purged and pressurized control systems and are intended to be used only in conjunction with a purged and pressurized control system, not as a replacement. The applications for these systems include cooling programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, laser housings, and electronic scales.
