NEMA 4 (IP66) thermostat control systems efficiently operate cabinet coolers by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures near critical levels, making them ideal for fluctuating heat loads caused by environmental or seasonal changes. Standard thermostat control systems feature an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C). These NEMA 4 (IP66) Cabinet Cooler® systems are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, suitable for indoor and outdoor service, and incorporate a low pressure relief valve for both the cooler and cabinet air exhaust that closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the NEMA integrity of the electronic enclosure. Sound levels are measured with an optional cold muffler installed. Available in various cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr (1,641 watts), these cabinet coolers use a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air without moving parts, installed easily through a standard electrical knockout. Each system includes a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt entry and a cold air distribution kit for directing air circulation or targeting hot spots. All cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant, providing low-cost, compact solutions that stabilize enclosure temperature and humidity, eliminate fans and filters, stop nuisance tripping, and prevent heat damage without using CFCs. The systems are suitable for programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales.
