NEMA 4 (IP66) thermostat control systems provide efficient operation of cabinet coolers by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, making them ideal for fluctuating heat loads due to environmental or seasonal changes. Standard thermostat control systems include an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C). These NEMA 4 (IP66) Cabinet Cooler® systems are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash-resistant, suitable for indoor/outdoor service, and incorporate a low pressure relief valve for both the cooler and cabinet air exhaust, which closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the NEMA integrity of the electronic enclosure. Available in various cooling capacities for both large and small control panels, the coolers use a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air without any moving parts. Installation only requires a standard electrical knockout and each system includes a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure, along with a cold air distribution kit to direct air for circulation or on hot spots. These cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant, offer cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr. (1,641 watts), and feature low cost, compact size, quiet operation, stabilization of enclosure temperature and humidity, elimination of fans and filters, prevention of nuisance tripping, and protection against heat damage.
