NEMA 4 (IP66) thermostat control systems efficiently operate cabinet coolers by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures near critical levels, ideal for fluctuating heat loads from environmental or seasonal changes. These standard thermostat control systems feature an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C) and include a low pressure relief valve for both the cooler and cabinet air exhaust, which closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the NEMA integrity of the electronic enclosure. Available in various cooling capacities for large and small control panels, EXAIR® NEMA 4 (IP66) cabinet cooler systems produce cold air from compressed air using a vortex tube with no moving parts, requiring only a standard electrical knockout for installation. Each system includes a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt entry and a cold air distribution kit to direct airflow for circulation or targeted cooling. These cabinet coolers have cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr. (1,641 watts), are UL listed and CE compliant, and are suitable for applications such as programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales. Additional features include low cost, compact size, quiet operation, stabilization of enclosure temperature and humidity, absence of CFCs, maintenance-free operation due to no moving parts, compatibility with standard electrical knockouts, prevention of nuisance tripping, and protection against heat damage.
