Thermostat controlled hazardous location NEMA 4X (IP66) cabinet cooler systems are engineered and approved for use on purged electrical enclosures within classified areas, meeting UL requirements for Class I Div 1, Groups A, B, C and D; Class II Div 1 Groups E, F and G; and Class III. Constructed of stainless steel suitable for food service and corrosive environments, these coolers offer cooling capacities ranging from 1,000 BTU/hr to 5,600 BTU/hr and can be installed quickly through a standard electrical knockout. These NEMA 4X thermostat control systems operate efficiently by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures approach set points, with an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C). The cabinet coolers are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, incorporating a low pressure relief valve that seals when not operating to maintain enclosure integrity. Each system includes a water-dirt filter separator to prevent contamination and a cold air distribution kit for directed circulation onto hot spots. All cabinet coolers are UL classified and CE compliant. These HazLoc cabinet cooler systems are not purged and pressurized control systems and are designed for use in conjunction with a purged and pressurized controller.
