Thermostat controlled hazardous location NEMA 4X (IP66) cabinet cooler systems are engineered and approved for use on purged electrical enclosures within classified areas, meeting UL requirements for Class I Div 1, Groups A, B, C, and D; Class II Div 1 Groups E, F, and G; and Class III hazardous locations. Constructed of stainless steel for food service and corrosive environments, these systems offer cooling capacities ranging from 1,000 BTU/hr to 5,600 BTU/hr and can be installed through a standard electrical knockout in minutes. The NEMA 4X thermostat control includes an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C) that activates the cooler only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, providing efficient cooling for fluctuating heat loads. Features include a low pressure relief valve that seals when the cooler is off to maintain NEMA 4X integrity, a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure, and a cold air distribution kit to direct airflow for circulation or onto hot spots. These cabinet coolers are UL classified and CE compliant, designed for dust-tight, oil-tight, splash-resistant, indoor/outdoor service.
