Thermostat controlled hazardous location NEMA 4X (IP66) cabinet cooler systems are engineered and approved for use on purged electrical enclosures within classified areas, meeting UL's stringent requirements. These HazLoc cabinet cooler systems cool purged electric control panels in environments classified as Class I Div 1, Groups A, B, C and D; Class II Div 1 Groups E, F and G; and Class III. Constructed of stainless steel suitable for food service and corrosive environments, they offer cooling capacities ranging from 1,000 BTU/hr to 5,600 BTU/hr and can be installed in minutes through a standard electrical knockout. The NEMA 4X thermostat control system is designed to operate efficiently by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures near critical levels, with an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C). The NEMA 4X (IP66) enclosures are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, and suitable for indoor/outdoor service, incorporating a low pressure relief valve that seals when the cooler is off to maintain enclosure integrity. Each system includes a water-dirt filter separator to prevent condensate and dirt entry and a cold air distribution kit for targeted air circulation. All cabinet coolers are UL classified and CE compliant. These HazLoc cabinet cooler systems are not purged and pressurized control systems and must be used in conjunction with a purged and pressurized controller.
