Stainless steel thermostat controlled ATEX cabinet cooler systems are engineered and approved for use on purged electrical enclosures in classified areas, meeting stringent ATEX requirements as tested by UL for Zones 2 and 22. These systems provide cooling capacities ranging from 1,000 BTU/hr to 5,600 BTU/hr and can be installed through standard electrical knockouts in minutes. The thermostat control includes an adjustable setting factory preset at 95°F (35°C), optimizing air use by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures near critical levels, making them ideal for fluctuating heat loads due to environmental or seasonal variations. Each system features a low-pressure relief valve that closes to maintain NEMA 4X enclosure integrity (dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, suitable for indoor/outdoor service, corrosion resistant), a water-dirt filter separator to prevent condensate and dirt ingress, and a cold air distribution kit for directed airflow to promote circulation or cool hotspots. All units are CE compliant but are designed to be used alongside purged and pressurized control systems, not as substitutes. These cabinet coolers are suitable for programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, and modular applications.
