Product Details
Thermostat controlled hazardous location NEMA 4X (IP66) cabinet cooler systems are engineered and approved for use on purged electrical enclosures found within classified areas. These HazLoc cabinet cooler systems have been tested by UL and meet the stringent UL requirements for Class I Div 1, Groups A, B, C, and D; Class II Div 1, Groups E, F, and G; and Class III hazardous locations. Constructed of stainless steel for food service and corrosive environments, they are available in cooling capacities ranging from 1,000 BTU/hr to 5,600 BTU/hr and can be installed in minutes through a standard electrical knockout. The NEMA 4X thermostat control system includes an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C) and operates efficiently by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, making them suitable for fluctuating heat loads caused by environmental or seasonal changes. These coolers are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, and suitable for indoor/outdoor service. Each system incorporates a low-pressure relief valve that closes and seals when not operating to maintain the integrity of the NEMA 4X enclosure, a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure, and a cold air distribution kit to direct air circulation or onto hot spots. All cabinet coolers are UL classified and CE compliant. These HazLoc cabinet cooler systems are not purged and pressurized control systems and must be used in conjunction with a purged and pressurized controller. Warranty information and specific terms are as provided by the manufacturer.
