Stainless steel thermostat controlled ATEX cabinet cooler systems are engineered and approved for use with purged electrical enclosures in classified areas, specifically zones 2 and 22. These systems have been UL tested and comply with stringent ATEX requirements. Available in cooling capacities ranging from 1,000 BTU/hr to 5,600 BTU/hr, the cabinet coolers install easily through a standard electrical knockout. The thermostat control includes an adjustable thermostat, factory set at 95°F (35°C), providing efficient operation by activating the cooler only when temperatures approach critical levels, ideal for fluctuating heat loads caused by environmental or seasonal changes. The system incorporates a low pressure relief valve that closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the integrity of a NEMA 4X enclosure, which is dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, suitable for indoor/outdoor service, and corrosion resistant. Each system includes a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure, along with a cold air distribution kit to direct air for circulation or targeting hot spots. All cabinet coolers are CE compliant. These ATEX cabinet cooler systems are designed to be used in conjunction with a purged and pressurized control system and are not themselves purged and pressurized controllers.
