Stainless steel thermostat controlled ATEX cabinet cooler systems are engineered and approved for use on purged electrical enclosures found within classified zones 2 and 22 areas, having been tested by UL to meet stringent ATEX requirements. These cabinet cooler systems provide reliable cooling with capacities ranging from 1,000 BTU/hr to 5,600 BTU/hr and can be installed in minutes through a standard electrical knockout. The thermostat control system includes an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C), which optimizes efficiency by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, making it ideal for fluctuating heat loads caused by environmental or seasonal changes. Each system includes a low pressure relief valve that closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the integrity of a NEMA 4X enclosure, which is dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, suitable for indoor/outdoor service, and corrosion resistant. Additionally, the package contains a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure and a cold air distribution kit designed to direct air circulation or target hot spots. All cabinet coolers are CE compliant. These ATEX cabinet cooler systems are not purged and pressurized control systems and should be used only in conjunction with an existing purged and pressurized control system.
