Stainless steel thermostat controlled ATEX cabinet cooler systems are engineered and approved for use on purged electrical enclosures within classified areas, specifically zones 2 and 22. These systems have been tested by UL and meet stringent ATEX requirements, providing cooling capacities ranging from 1,000 BTU/hr to 5,600 BTU/hr. They install easily through a standard electrical knockout and feature thermostat control with an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C), optimizing operation by activating only when internal temperatures approach critical levels. This makes them ideal for fluctuating heat loads due to environmental or seasonal changes. The ATEX cabinet coolers incorporate a low pressure relief valve that closes and seals when the cooler is not operating, thus maintaining the integrity of a NEMA 4X enclosure, which is dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, suitable for indoor/outdoor use, and corrosion resistant. Each system includes a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure, as well as a cold air distribution kit for directing cooled air for circulation or onto specific hot spots. All cabinet coolers are CE compliant. These ATEX cabinet cooler systems are not purged and pressurized control systems and should be used only in conjunction with a purged and pressurized control system, not as a substitute. They are suitable for applications including programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, and modular setups.
