Stainless steel thermostat controlled ATEX cabinet cooler systems are engineered and approved for use on purged electrical enclosures within classified areas, specifically Zones 2 and 22. These systems have been tested by UL and meet stringent ATEX requirements, offering cooling capacities ranging from 1,000 BTU/hr to 5,600 BTU/hr. They can be installed quickly through a standard electrical knockout and include an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C) to efficiently operate the cooler by activating it only when internal temperatures approach critical levels. The systems feature a low pressure relief valve that closes and seals when not operating to maintain the integrity of a NEMA 4X enclosure (dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, indoor/outdoor service, corrosion resistant). Each kit includes a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure and a cold air distribution kit to direct airflow for circulation or onto hot spots. All cabinet coolers are CE compliant. These ATEX cabinet cooler systems are not purged and pressurized control systems and should only be used in conjunction with a purged and pressurized control system. They are ideal for use in programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, and modular applications.
