Stainless steel continuous operation ATEX cabinet cooler systems are engineered and approved for use on purged electrical enclosures found within classified areas, specifically zones 2 and 22. These systems meet stringent ATEX requirements and have been tested by UL. Available in cooling capacities ranging from 1,000 BTU/hr to 5,600 BTU/hr, they can be installed in minutes through a standard electrical knockout. The continuous operation models are recommended when constant cooling and constant positive purge are desirable. Each ATEX cabinet cooler incorporates a low pressure relief valve that closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the integrity of a NEMA 4X enclosure, which is dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, suitable for indoor/outdoor service, and corrosion resistant. The included package features a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure and a cold air distribution kit to direct the air for circulation or target hot spots. All cabinet coolers are CE compliant. These ATEX cabinet cooler systems are not purged and pressurized control systems and should be used in conjunction with such systems rather than as a replacement. Typical applications include programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, laser housings, and electronic scales.
