Aluminum thermostat controlled ATEX cabinet cooler systems are engineered and approved for use on purged electrical enclosures within classified areas, specifically zones 2 and 22. These systems have been tested by UL and meet stringent ATEX requirements, providing reliable cooling solutions with capacities ranging from 1,000 BTU/hr to 5,600 BTU/hr. They can be installed quickly through a standard electrical knockout and feature thermostat control for efficient operation, activating the cooler only when internal temperatures approach a preset level, which is adjustable and factory set at 95°F (35°C). Each ATEX cabinet cooler incorporates a low-pressure relief valve that seals when the cooler is off to maintain the integrity of a NEMA 4 enclosure, which is dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, and suitable for indoor/outdoor service. The systems include a water-dirt filter separator to prevent condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure, as well as a cold air distribution kit to direct airflow for effective circulation or targeted cooling of hot spots. All cabinet coolers are CE compliant. These ATEX cabinet cooler systems are not purged and pressurized control systems and should be used only in conjunction with such systems, not as a replacement.
