Aluminum thermostat controlled ATEX cabinet cooler systems are engineered and approved for use on purged electrical enclosures within classified areas, having been tested by UL to meet stringent ATEX requirements. These systems provide a low-cost, reliable cooling solution for purged electric control panels and can be installed in minutes through a standard electrical knockout. The thermostat control operates efficiently by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, making it ideal for fluctuating heat loads due to environmental or seasonal changes. Standard thermostat controls include an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C). The ATEX cabinet coolers feature a low-pressure relief valve that closes and seals when the cooler is off, maintaining the integrity of a NEMA 4 (IP66) enclosure which is dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, and suitable for indoor/outdoor service. Each system includes a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure, and a cold air distribution kit to direct airflow for circulation or targeted cooling of hot spots. All cabinet coolers are CE compliant. These ATEX cabinet cooler systems are not purged and pressurized control systems and should be used only in conjunction with such controllers.
