Aluminum thermostat controlled ATEX cabinet cooler systems are engineered and approved for use with purged electrical enclosures in classified areas, having been tested by UL to meet stringent ATEX requirements. These systems provide a low-cost, reliable method to cool purged electric control panels and can be installed quickly through a standard electrical knockout. The thermostat control optimizes operation by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures reach critical levels, with an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C), making them ideal for fluctuating heat loads due to environmental or seasonal changes. Each system includes a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure, a cold air distribution kit to direct airflow for circulation or targeted cooling of hot spots, and incorporates a low pressure relief valve that seals the NEMA 4 (IP66) enclosure to maintain dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant performance for indoor/outdoor service when not operating. All cabinet coolers are CE compliant. It is important to note that these ATEX cabinet coolers are not purged and pressurized control systems and should only be used in conjunction with such purged and pressurized systems.
