Stainless steel continuous operation ATEX cabinet cooler systems are engineered and approved for use on purged electrical enclosures within classified areas, specifically Zones 2 and 22. These systems have been tested by UL and meet stringent ATEX requirements. The coolers provide reliable, low-cost cooling for purged electric control panels with cooling capacities ranging from 1,000 BTU/hr to 5,600 BTU/hr and can be installed in minutes through a standard electrical knockout. Continuous operation models are recommended when constant cooling and positive purge are needed. They feature a low pressure relief valve that seals when the cooler is not operating, maintaining the integrity of a NEMA 4X enclosure, which is dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, suitable for indoor/outdoor service, and corrosion resistant. Each system includes a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure and a cold air distribution kit designed to direct air for enhanced circulation or to targeted hot spots. All cabinet coolers are CE compliant. These ATEX cabinet cooler systems are intended for use in conjunction with a purged and pressurized control system and are not purged and pressurized control systems themselves. They are applicable for programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, laser housings, and electronic scales. The stainless steel models offer quiet operation, stabilize enclosure temperature and humidity, contain no CFCs, and have no moving parts minimizing maintenance requirements.
