Stainless steel continuous operation ATEX cabinet cooler systems are engineered and approved for use in purged electrical enclosures within classified areas, specifically Zones 2 and 22. These systems have been tested by UL and comply with stringent ATEX requirements. They offer cooling capacities ranging from 1,000 BTU/hr. to 5,600 BTU/hr. and can be installed in minutes using a standard electrical knockout. Continuous operation designs are recommended when both constant cooling and constant positive purge are needed. Each system includes a low pressure relief valve that seals the enclosure when the cooler is off to maintain NEMA 4X integrity, ensuring the enclosure is dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, suitable for indoor/outdoor use, and corrosion resistant. The kit also contains a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt contamination, as well as a cold air distribution kit to direct air circulation or target hot spots within the enclosure. All cabinet coolers are CE compliant. These ATEX cabinet cooler systems are not purged and pressurized control systems themselves but are designed for use alongside such systems. Applications include programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, laser housings, and electronic scales.
