Aluminum thermostat controlled ATEX cabinet cooler systems are engineered and approved for use on purged electrical enclosures within classified areas, specifically Zones 2 and 22. These systems have been tested by UL and meet stringent ATEX requirements, offering cooling capacities ranging from 1,000 BTU/hr to 5,600 BTU/hr. Designed for quick installation through a standard electrical knockout, the thermostat control includes an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C), which efficiently activates the cooler only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, making it ideal for fluctuating heat loads due to environmental or seasonal changes. Each system features a low pressure relief valve that closes and seals when the cooler is not operating, preserving the integrity of a NEMA 4 enclosure, which is dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, and suitable for indoor/outdoor service. Included in the package are a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure, and a cold air distribution kit to direct air for circulation or toward hot spots. All cabinet coolers are CE compliant and are intended for use in conjunction with purged and pressurized control systems, not as replacements for them. The product comes with specified warranty terms.
