Aluminum thermostat controlled ATEX cabinet cooler systems are engineered and approved for use on purged electrical enclosures in classified areas, having been tested by UL and meeting stringent ATEX requirements. These systems provide a low cost and reliable solution for cooling purged electric control panels in such environments and can be installed in minutes through a standard electrical knockout. The thermostat control, factory set at 95°F (35°C), ensures efficient operation by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, making it ideal for fluctuating heat loads caused by environmental or seasonal changes. Each ATEX cabinet cooler system includes a low pressure relief valve that closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the integrity of a NEMA 4 (IP66) enclosure, which is dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, and suitable for indoor/outdoor service. Additionally, these systems come with a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure, as well as a cold air distribution kit to direct air for circulation or target hot spots. All cabinet coolers are CE compliant. It is important to note that EXAIR®'s ATEX cabinet cooler systems are not purged and pressurized control systems and should be used only in conjunction with, not as replacements for, purged and pressurized control systems. These coolers are applied in various setups including programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, laser housings, and electronic scales. The systems include a warranty with terms as provided by the manufacturer.
