Aluminum thermostat controlled ATEX cabinet cooler systems are engineered and approved for use on purged electrical enclosures within classified areas, meeting stringent ATEX requirements as tested by UL. These systems offer a low-cost, reliable solution for cooling purged electric control panels in harsh environments and can be installed in minutes through a standard electrical knockout. The thermostat control includes an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C), which optimizes operation by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, making it ideal for fluctuating heat loads due to environmental or seasonal changes. Each system features a low-pressure relief valve that closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the integrity of a NEMA 4 (IP66) enclosure, providing dust-tight, oil-tight, and splash-resistant protection suitable for indoor or outdoor service. Included in the package are a water-dirt filter separator that prevents water condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure, and a cold air distribution kit that directs airflow for effective circulation or targeted hot spot cooling. All cabinet coolers are CE compliant. These ATEX cabinet cooler systems are not purged and pressurized control systems and are intended to be used in conjunction with a purged and pressurized control system rather than as a replacement.
