NEMA 4X (IP66) cabinet coolers are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, corrosion resistant, and suitable for indoor/outdoor service, incorporating a low pressure relief valve for both the vortex tube and cabinet air exhaust that closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the integrity of a NEMA 4X enclosure. Constructed of stainless steel for food service and corrosive environments, these coolers feature sound levels measured with an optional cold muffler installed and are available in many cooling capacities for large and small control panels, with cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr (1,641 watts). NEMA 4X continuous operation Cabinet Cooler® systems include a cabinet cooler, cold air distribution kit, and filter, recommended for constant cooling and constant positive purge. All cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant, providing a low cost, reliable method to cool and purge electronic control panels. EXAIR cabinet coolers use a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air with no moving parts, allowing compact installation through a standard electrical knockout. The coolers are quiet, stabilize enclosure temperature and humidity, contain no CFCs, require no maintenance, eliminate fans and filters, prevent nuisance tripping, heat damage, circuit drift, and dirt contamination, and provide washdown protection.
