NEMA 4X (IP66) cabinet coolers are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, corrosion resistant, and suitable for indoor and outdoor service, incorporating a low pressure relief valve for both the vortex tube and cabinet air exhaust that closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the integrity of a NEMA 4X enclosure. Constructed of stainless steel for food service and corrosive environments, these cabinet coolers are available in many cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr. (1,641 watts) for large and small control panels. They operate continuously with a Cabinet Cooler system that includes a cabinet cooler, cold air distribution kit, and filter, recommended where constant cooling and positive purge are required. Sound levels are measured with an optional cold muffler installed. All cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant, providing a low-cost, reliable method to cool and purge electronic control panels. EXAIR cabinet coolers use a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air without moving parts and can be installed quickly through a standard electrical knockout. These coolers stabilize enclosure temperature and humidity, contain no CFCs, and are maintenance-free, eliminating fans, filters, heat damage, nuisance tripping, dirt contamination, circuit drift, and lost production while providing washdown protection. They are suitable for applications including programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales.
