NEMA 4X thermostat control systems operate cabinet coolers efficiently by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, making them ideal for fluctuating heat loads due to environmental or seasonal changes. The standard thermostat control systems include an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C). NEMA 4X (IP66) cabinet coolers are constructed of stainless steel for food service and corrosive environments, incorporating a vortex tube that produces cold air from compressed air with no moving parts. The compact cabinet cooler installs in minutes through a standard electrical knockout. These systems are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, corrosion resistant, and suitable for indoor/outdoor service. They feature a low-pressure relief valve for both the vortex tube and cabinet air exhaust, which closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the integrity of a NEMA 4 enclosure. Available in many cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr (1,641 watts) for large and small control panels, all cabinet coolers are UL Listed and CE compliant.
