NEMA 4X thermostat control systems efficiently operate cabinet coolers by activating them only when internal temperatures near critical levels, making them ideal for fluctuating heat loads due to environmental or seasonal changes. The standard system includes an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C). These NEMA 4X (IP66) cabinet coolers are constructed from stainless steel for use in food service and corrosive environments. Sound levels are measured with the optional cold muffler installed. EXAIR® cabinet coolers use a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air without moving parts, and can be installed quickly through a standard electrical knockout. The NEMA 4X (IP66) Cabinet Cooler® systems are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, corrosion resistant, and suitable for indoor/outdoor service, incorporating a low-pressure relief valve for both the vortex tube and cabinet air exhaust that seals when the cooler is off to maintain NEMA 4 enclosure integrity. Available in various cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr. (1,641 watts) to accommodate large and small control panels, all cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant. Applications include programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales. These coolers offer advantages such as low cost, compact design, quiet operation, fast installation, stabilization of enclosure temperature and humidity, absence of CFCs and moving parts leading to maintenance-free operation, mounting in standard electrical knockouts, prevention of nuisance tripping and heat damage, and elimination of fans, filters, and lost production.
