NEMA 4X thermostat control systems efficiently operate cabinet coolers by activating them only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, making them ideal for fluctuating heat loads caused by environmental or seasonal changes. The standard thermostat control systems include an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C). NEMA 4X (IP66) cabinet coolers are constructed of stainless steel suitable for food service and corrosive environments, with sound levels measured when the optional cold muffler is installed. EXAIR® cabinet coolers incorporate a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air with no moving parts, and the compact cooler can be installed in minutes through a standard electrical knockout. These NEMA 4X (IP66) Cabinet Cooler® systems are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, corrosion resistant, and designed for indoor/outdoor service, incorporating a low pressure relief valve for both the vortex tube and cabinet air exhaust that seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain NEMA 4 enclosure integrity. They are available in multiple cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr (1,641 watts) for various control panel sizes and are UL listed and CE compliant. Applications include programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales. Key advantages include low cost, quiet operation, maintaining NEMA 4 integrity (IP66), stabilizing enclosure temperature and humidity, no CFCs, maintenance-free operation with no moving parts, mounting in standard electrical knockouts, preventing nuisance tripping and heat damage, eliminating fans and filters, losing production, and circuit failure.
