NEMA 4X thermostat control systems provide efficient operation of cabinet coolers by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, making them ideal for fluctuating heat loads caused by environmental or seasonal changes. The standard thermostat control systems include an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C) and feature NEMA 4X (IP66) cabinet coolers constructed of stainless steel suitable for food service and corrosive environments. The sound level is measured with an optional cold muffler installed. EXAIR® cabinet coolers use a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air with no moving parts. These compact cabinet coolers can be installed in minutes through a standard electrical knockout. The NEMA 4X (IP66) Cabinet Cooler systems are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, corrosion resistant, and suitable for indoor/outdoor service. They incorporate a low pressure relief valve for both the vortex tube and cabinet air exhaust, which closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the integrity of a NEMA 4 enclosure. Available in various cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr. (1,641 watts), these UL listed and CE compliant cabinet coolers are designed to stabilize enclosure temperature and humidity, prevent nuisance tripping, heat damage, and eliminate fans, filters, and lost production. They are maintenance-free and mount in standard electrical knockouts, making them suitable for applications such as programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales.
