Thermostat controlled hazardous location NEMA 4 (IP66) cabinet cooler systems are engineered and approved for use on purged electrical enclosures within classified areas, meeting UL requirements for Class I Div 1 Groups A, B, C, D; Class II Div 1 Groups E, F, G; and Class III. These systems offer cooling capacities ranging from 1,000 BTU/hr to 5,600 BTU/hr and can be installed in minutes through a standard electrical knockout. The NEMA 4 thermostat control includes an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C), making it an efficient way to operate the cooler by activating only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, suitable for fluctuating heat loads due to environmental or seasonal changes. The cabinet coolers are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, and rated for indoor/outdoor service, incorporating a low-pressure relief valve that seals when the cooler is off to maintain NEMA 4 enclosure integrity. Each system includes a water-dirt filter separator to prevent condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure and a cold air distribution kit to direct air circulation or target hot spots. These systems are UL classified and CE compliant. They are not purged and pressurized control systems and should be used only in conjunction with a purged and pressurized control system.
