Thermostat controlled hazardous location NEMA 4 (IP66) cabinet cooler systems are engineered and approved for use on purged electrical enclosures in classified areas, meeting UL requirements for Class I Div 1 Groups A, B, C, D; Class II Div 1 Groups E, F, G; and Class III environments. These systems offer cooling capacities from 1,000 BTU/hr to 5,600 BTU/hr and can be installed quickly through a standard electrical knockout. The NEMA 4 enclosure rating ensures the cooler is dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, and suitable for indoor/outdoor service. Each system includes an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C) to efficiently operate the cooler by activating it only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, saving air during fluctuating heat loads. The kit includes a low-pressure relief valve that closes when the cooler is not operating, a water-dirt filter separator to prevent condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure, and a cold air distribution kit to direct airflow for circulation or cooling hot spots. All cabinet coolers are UL classified and CE compliant. These HazLoc cabinet cooler systems are not purged and pressurized control systems and should be used in conjunction with a purged and pressurized control system.
