Thermostat controlled hazardous location NEMA 4 (IP66) cabinet cooler systems are engineered and approved for use on purged electrical enclosures within classified areas, meeting UL requirements for Class I Div 1, Groups A, B, C and D; Class II Div 1 Groups E, F and G; and Class III locations. These cabinet cooler systems offer cooling capacities ranging from 1,000 BTU/hr to 5,600 BTU/hr and can be installed quickly using a standard electrical knockout. The NEMA 4 thermostat control includes an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C), optimizing operation by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures approach critical levels to save compressed air during fluctuating heat loads. The NEMA 4 (IP66) enclosure provides dust-tight, oil-tight, and splash-resistant protection suitable for indoor or outdoor service and incorporates a low pressure relief valve that closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain enclosure integrity. Each system comes with a water-dirt filter separator to prevent condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure and a cold air distribution kit to direct airflow for efficient circulation or targeted cooling of hot spots. All cabinet cooler systems are UL classified and CE compliant. These HazLoc cabinet cooler systems are not purged and pressurized control systems and should be used in conjunction with a purged and pressurized controller.
