Thermostat controlled hazardous location NEMA 4 (IP66) cabinet cooler systems are engineered and approved for use on purged electrical enclosures within classified areas, meeting UL requirements for Class I Div 1, Groups A, B, C, and D; Class II Div 1, Groups E, F, and G; and Class III environments. These systems provide cooling capacities ranging from 1,000 BTU/hr to 5,600 BTU/hr and can be installed through a standard electrical knockout in minutes. The NEMA 4 thermostat control includes an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C), allowing efficient operation by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, making them ideal for fluctuating heat loads due to environmental or seasonal changes. The NEMA 4 (IP66) cabinet coolers are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash-resistant, and suitable for indoor/outdoor service, featuring a low-pressure relief valve that seals when the cooler is off to maintain enclosure integrity. Each system includes a water-dirt filter separator to prevent condensate and dirt ingress and a cold air distribution kit to direct airflow for circulation or targeted cooling of hot spots. All units are UL classified and CE compliant. These HazLoc cabinet cooler systems are not purged and pressurized control systems and are intended for use only in conjunction with purged and pressurized control systems.
