NEMA 4X thermostat control systems provide an efficient method to operate a cabinet cooler by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, making them ideal for fluctuating heat loads caused by environmental or seasonal changes. The standard system includes an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C). These NEMA 4X (IP66) cabinet coolers are constructed from stainless steel for food service and corrosive environments and use a vortex tube to generate cold air from compressed air without any moving parts. The compact cabinet cooler can be installed in minutes through a standard electrical knockout. The NEMA 4X (IP66) Cabinet Cooler® systems are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, corrosion resistant, suitable for indoor/outdoor service, and incorporate a low pressure relief valve for both the vortex tube and cabinet air exhaust; this valve seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the integrity of the NEMA 4 enclosure. They come in various cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr. (1,641 watts) suitable for large and small control panels. All cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant. Applications include programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales.
