The Protector Series automatic backup generator is designed to power an entire home or business during a power outage by sensing the outage and starting automatically to deliver power to all large appliances and sensitive electronics. It features Quiet-Test™ mode, which runs at a lower, quieter speed for a five-minute test to ensure proper operation while consuming less fuel, programmable to run weekly, biweekly, or monthly. Cellular connectivity provides a reliable, constant connection allowing owners to monitor the generator via Mobile Link and servicing through Fleet. TruePower™ technology delivers superior power quality with less than 5% total harmonic distortion for clean, smooth operation of sensitive electronics and appliances. The generator is designed with surge capacity to start and power large electrical loads and a corrosion-resistant design including an aluminum enclosure, electro-galvanized steel and aluminum frame components, and a stainless-steel exhaust system for years of protection in extreme environments. It has a small footprint ideal for spaces where space is limited, with neutral styling and color to fit unobtrusively into landscaping. Maintenance is simplified with single-side access to oil and oil filter, air filter, spark plugs, coolant, and battery. Fuel type selection is controlled via the generator’s controller for installation ease. The generator is powered by a Generac designed and built liquid-cooled engine.
