The Protector Series 48 kW XG 1-phase automatic backup generator is designed to power an entire home or business during power outages, automatically sensing outages and delivering power to all appliances and sensitive electronics with quieter sound levels that maintain consistent tone. The generator features Quiet-Test™ mode, which runs at a lower speed for a five-minute test to ensure proper operation while consuming less fuel, and this mode can be scheduled weekly, biweekly, or monthly. It includes cellular connectivity that enables owners to monitor the generator via Mobile Link and allows servicers to use Fleet for support. TruePower™ technology provides superior power quality with less than 5% total harmonic distortion, supporting clean operation of sensitive electronics. The generator has surge capacity suitable for large electrical loads and corrosion resistance through an aluminum enclosure, electro-galvanized steel and aluminum frame components, and a stainless-steel exhaust system for durability in extreme environments. It has a small footprint that fits unobtrusively into landscaping, ideal for limited space. Regular maintenance components such as oil and oil filter, air filter, spark plugs, coolant, and battery are all accessible from one side for ease of service.
