This duct tape is up to 300% wider than standard 1-7/8" duct tape, featuring a tough reinforced backing and a powerful, thick rubber adhesive that provides maximum bonding strength to almost any surface. The FLEX™ Super Wide duct tape is removable, repositionable, and can be torn by hand both vertically and horizontally, minimizing waste. It is water, weather, and UV resistant. The tape is ideal for reinforcing boxes, general household repairs and DIY projects, sealing drafty windows, doors or awnings, repairing tears in furniture, tents or fabric, temporary auto and RV repairs, securing cords and wires, servicing A/C units and duct work, as well as arts and crafts. It may not bond effectively to certain siliconized materials, water-repellent surfaces, some porous surfaces like raw unpainted wood, concrete, cinder block, and brick, or surfaces with grease, oil, dirt, or debris. It is not intended for application on wet surfaces or for continuous submersion underwater and is not designed to be used as electrical tape.
