Conical centrifuge tubes are made of premium polypropylene for clarity and centrifugal strength, suitable for use with liquids of specific gravity 1.0 when used with appropriate rotors, cushions, and adapters. The tubes and caps can be frozen at temperatures as low as -86°C, and the 50ml tubes can withstand a maximum centrifugal force of 12,000xg. Caps feature a flat top surface for easy marking and labeling, with Cat. no. C2607 offering a 'skirted' bottom that allows the tube to stand upright without the need for a separate test tube rack. C2607 tubes ship in eco-plastic racks, which are recyclable alternatives to standard foam racks, and can be broken down into a compact, flat package for easy storage. The tubes are sterile, free of RNase, DNase, pyrogens, and cytotoxins, available either racked or bagged, compatible with standard rotors, and have a white printed marking surface.
