Total-Pure™ centrifuge tubes are made from a proprietary purified polypropylene blend certified to be free of trace metal content, tested via ICP-MS to contain less than 1ppm of common trace metals including calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, manganese, copper, aluminum, silicon, nickel, vanadium, sodium, phosphorus, cobalt, chromium, potassium, lithium, lead, selenium, cadmium, mercury, and arsenic. These tubes feature a maximum centrifugation rate of 20,000xg, with the relative centrifugal force specification printed directly on the 50ml tubes. They have Hi-Viz™ graduations easily identified at any angle and a printed max-freeze line indicating the maximum volume allowed to be frozen inside the tubes. TotalPure’s natural color caps provide a smooth seal that can be opened and closed with one hand while maintaining a 95kPa leak-proof seal. The tubes are available in resealable zip bags containing 25 tubes or individually wrapped and are e-beam sterilized with a sterility assurance level (SAL) of 10^-6.
