Total-Pure™ centrifuge tubes are made from a proprietary purified polypropylene blend certified to be free of trace metal content, tested via ICP-MS to contain less than 1ppm of common trace metals including calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, manganese, copper, aluminum, silicon, nickel, vanadium, sodium, phosphorous, cobalt, chromium, potassium, lithium, lead, selenium, cadmium, mercury, and arsenic. These tubes are engineered to withstand a maximum centrifugation rate of 20,000xg, with this relative centrifugal force specification printed directly on 50ml tubes. They feature Hi-Viz™ graduations that are easily identified at any angle and a printed max-freeze line indicating the maximum allowable volume for freezing. TotalPure™ tubes include natural color caps designed to provide a smooth seal that can be opened or closed with one hand without compromising the integrity of the 95kPa leak-proof seal. The tubes are available in resealable zip bags of 25 or individually wrapped and are e-beam sterilized with a Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) of 10^-6.
